From August 30 to September 5, Gestev and Mont-Sainte-Anne are proud to welcome the UCI Mountain Bike and Trials World Championships as part of Vélirium. The only venue to have hosted a World Cup event every year since the competition’s inception, popular Mont Sainte-Anne is revving up to wow the crowds once again as we celebrate 20 years of mountain biking. Having already tasked Gestev with organizing the 1998 World Championships, UCI has again called on the company’s services for 2010—to the delight of Gestev!

The 2010 Red Bull Crashed Ice: Clearly a Great Success!

Over 120,000 fans came to Quebec City to watch the incredible events unfold! 64 men and 16 women participated to the final held on March 20.

VÉLIRIUM 2009 : Voted Best International Event at the Gala SportsQuébec

Vélirium, Mountain bike International festival and Mountain bike World Cup won the first title in International Event/CKAC Sports category last night during the 37th edition of the Gala SPORTSQUÉBEC.

After 14 spectacular winter extreme sport races over the last nine years, Red Bull Crashed Ice officially becomes a World Championship in 2010 - with two races beginning at Munich’s Olympiapark on January 16, 2010 and concluding in Quebec City’s Vieux-Québec on March 20, 2010.

Vélirium 2009: Best International Event according to IMTTO

Vélirium 2009 – Mountain bike international festival and Mountain Bike World Cup got the first rank at the IMTTO general classification. (International Mountain bike Teams, Technical support companies and Organizers).

 

What's the Snowboard Jamboree? It's a huge event celebrating hosting the LG/FIS World Cup! From January 20 to 24, we'll celebrate the snowboard culture under all its forms, daytime and night-time, in Quebec City and at Stoneham Mountain Resort!

Will be at the Jamboree: 85 000 visitors, 400 international athletes, 200 amateur athletes and 30 countries reprensented! The event is the only site presenting 4 out of 5 official disciplines, with the LG/FIS Big Air World Cup, held in Quebec City. The festival will be the last pre-olympic stage!

GESTEV named ''Event Management Company of 2009, Mountain Bike category"

The Canadian Cyclist Association honored GESTEV by giving them the title "Event Management Company of Mountain bike" of 2009.

Gestev get the award Médias-Innovateur de la Société des communicateurs

During the Medias Breakfast, held last November 24, Gestev, who represented by Patrice Drouin, president of the company, received the award "Médias-Innovateur". Award that was given to a company that keeps on impress and reach the media in an innovative and original way, whose actions showed positive effects in the area and eventually extending its influence beyond our city.

For a first time in North America, the Snowboard Jamboree hosted the LG/FIS World Cup - BIG AIR. The competition will be back next year!
